輕量的陶瓷材質具有絕佳鋒利度對於手部產生少的負擔。耐磨、高密度、高硬度、無毛細孔不生鏽，耐酸和鹼，刀片不會腐蝕。斜的刀片更好施力，能輕鬆處理紅蘿蔔與馬鈴薯等食材的皮。不殘留金屬味在食材上面，可以消毒，浸泡在廚房漂白劑清洗便利，不易殘留污垢或氣味陶瓷刀具的製造原料是二氧化鋯，硬度達到8.7（僅次於鑽石硬度10）。

建議使用方式
1.在切割食物的過程中，不要隨意扭曲陶瓷刀，這樣很容易導致刀刃破碎
2.不要用陶瓷刀剁帶骨肉、冷凍食品等
3.陶瓷材質缺乏韌性，使用時應避免摔至地面、外力撞擊
4.不要嘗試自己磨刀，因為普通的磨刀石會損壞陶瓷刀，金剛石磨具除外
